Free SSL via cPanel AutoSSL feature

AutoSSL is a tool provided by cPanel that automatically installs SSL certificates for domains hosted on the server. This tutorial will guide you through the steps to run AutoSSL via cPanel.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

To run AutoSSL via cPanel, you first need to log in to your cPanel account. Once logged in, look for the "SSL/TLS Status" or "SSL/TLS" icon in the "Security" section of cPanel.

Step 2: Check SSL/TLS Status

Click on the "SSL/TLS Status" or "SSL/TLS" icon to access the SSL/TLS page. This page displays the status of SSL/TLS for all of your domains hosted on the server. If an SSL certificate is already installed for a domain, it will be shown as "Installed".

Step 3: Run AutoSSL

To run AutoSSL, click on the "Run AutoSSL" button on the SSL/TLS page. This will initiate the process of installing SSL certificates for all of your domains that do not already have one installed.

Step 4: Wait for AutoSSL to Complete

AutoSSL will now begin the process of generating and installing SSL certificates for your domains. The process may take several minutes to complete, depending on the number of domains hosted on the server.

Step 5: Check SSL/TLS Status Again

Once the AutoSSL process is complete, go back to the SSL/TLS page and check the status of SSL/TLS for your domains. All domains should now show as "Installed" if the AutoSSL process completed successfully.

That's it! You have successfully run AutoSSL via cPanel and installed SSL certificates for your domains. AutoSSL will continue to run in the background, automatically renewing SSL certificates as needed to ensure that your websites remain secure.
