Overview
To ensure your website remains online without interruption, it is important to renew your domain before its expiration date. This guide will walk you through the steps to renew your domain through your UnderHost account.
Step 1: Log into Your Client Area
- Go to the Client Area.
- Enter your login credentials and click Login.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Domains
- Once logged in, click on the Domains tab in the menu.
- Find the domain you want to renew in the list.
Step 3: Renew Your Domain
- Click on the domain name you wish to renew.
- Look for the Renew Now option.
- Select the renewal period (e.g., 1 year, 2 years, etc.).
- Click Add to Cart and proceed to checkout.
Step 4: Complete Payment
- Review your renewal details.
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Click Pay Now to complete your renewal.
Step 5: Confirmation
Once the payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Your domain will be extended for the selected renewal period.
Enable Auto-Renewal (Optional)
To prevent future expiration, you can enable auto-renewal:
- Go to Client Area > Domains > Select your domain.
- Toggle the Auto-Renew option to Enabled.
What Happens If My Domain Expires?
- Your website and email services may stop working.
- Renewing an expired domain may incur additional fees.
- After a certain grace period, the domain may become available for others to register.
