Overview
If you have registered a domain with us, you can easily update its DNS (Domain Name System) settings through your account panel. This guide will walk you through the steps to change your domain’s nameservers or custom DNS records.
Steps to Change DNS
1. Log in to Your Account
Go to the Client Area and log in with your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Domains Section
Once logged in:
- Click on "Domains" in the navigation menu.
- Select the domain you want to update.
3. Access DNS Management
After selecting the domain:
- Click on "DNS Management" or "Manage Nameservers".
4. Update Your DNS Settings
Changing Nameservers:
If you want to point your domain, enter the new nameservers provided by your host.
Example:
dns1.underhost.com
dns2.underhost.com
After entering the new nameservers, click **Save Changes**.
Editing Custom DNS Records:
If you're using our nameservers and need to update A, CNAME, MX, or TXT records:
- Find the **DNS Records** section.
- Click **Add New Record** or **Edit** existing records.
- Enter the required values (IP address, hostname, etc.).
- Click **Save Changes**.
DNS Propagation Time
After updating your DNS settings, changes may take up to **24-48 hours** to fully propagate worldwide.
